Dr. Adam Sandor (University of Bayreuth) participated on the panel discussion „The role of the UN and regional organisations in times of political unrest and growing violence“, alongside Niagalé Bagayoko (African Security Sector Network), Chido Mutangadura (UNU-CPR), Kseniya Oksamytna (City University London), and Jamie Bring (UNU-CRIS).
This discussion was part of the conference „A decade of multi-crisis in the Sahel: Where are we and how do we move on from here“ in the city of Brussels. The interdisciplinar group of panelists engaged with questions concerning the state of knowledge on the region, considering the current events of authoritarianisms, civil conflict, and jihadist insurgencies.
